Significant Content Improvements in the App

We're excited to announce a major content update for onemoreword. Throughout January and early February 2026, we reviewed and improved a large part of the app's learning materials.

What changed?

📝 Higher-quality translations

We revised word translations to make them more accurate, more natural, and more useful in context.

💡 Improved examples and explanations

  • Updated usage examples so they feel clearer and more practical
  • Rewritten word explanations to better reflect nuance and meaning

📚 Better grouping by topic

  • Improved category structure across the content set
  • Removed off-topic words from categories
  • Moved words into sections where they fit more naturally

🐛 Fixed Errors

We also corrected many typos and inaccuracies that could get in the way of learning.

Scale of the update

More than 7,000 cards out of 10,000 were improved in this update. That is roughly 70% of the app's content base.
